“Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads, which sew people together through the years.” — Simone Signoret

Once upon a time, intimate relationships felt much simpler and straightforward. However, nowadays relationships need our attention, investment, and focus. The quality of our relationships directly impacts the quality of our lives, and a lack of awareness of relational proficiency could hurt us and our loved ones. Hope is the product of applying best research practices while celebrating the uniqueness of each person.

Personally, it was around year 15 in our marriage when I became aware of the body of scientific research done on relationships and it completely changed the course of our marriage. We are now starting the third decade of our marriage, our kids (all 5 of them!) are between high school and college, and we continue doing life together well. Our relationship has challenges like all relationships from cross-cultural to very different personality types. Thanks to our application of best practices, we have the tools to bring out the best in each other, respect each other’s uniqueness, and bring stability and harmony to our home.
